Bronx Nathaniel Clinic
The Bronx Nathaniel Clinic is an approved Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Service (MHOTRS) Program that provides mental health services in the South Bronx. Our clinic specializes in treating individuals who have been involved in the criminal justice system. We help justice involved people and other community members heal from trauma and improve emotional and physical health.
The Bronx Nathaniel Clinic provides a comprehensive array of outpatient services for individuals ages 13 and over with mental health disorders. These services include individual/group/family psychotherapy, medication management, crisis intervention, case management, and peer support services.

ELIGIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS
Age & Location:
- Individuals must be 13 years or older.
- Services are provided in the South Bronx.
Referral Restrictions:
The clinic does not accept referrals for:
- Individuals whose only diagnosis is related to substance use.
- Individuals whose only diagnosis is a neurodevelopmental disorder (e.g., autism, intellectual disability, learning disability).
- Referrals solely for entitlement-related forms (e.g., SSI or 2010e applications).
- Individuals who do not speak fluent English and decline interpreter services.
Mental Health Status:
- Must have a mental health disorder.
- The clinic specializes in treating justice-involved individuals, but also serves other community members.
