Solutions for Recovery & Community Safety: A Panel Celebrating CASES Nathaniel ACT

Join CASES on Tuesday, May 16, at 9:00am for a live streamed panel discussion moderated by CEO Jonathan McLean at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Featured panelists will include Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) Commissioner Dr. Ann Marie T. Sullivan and Nathaniel ACT Treatment Team Leader Megan Kirk, LMSW.

The event is a celebration of CASES Nathaniel Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, winner of the 2021 Mutual of America Community Partnership Award. Nathaniel ACT is an innovative alternative to incarceration program proven to promote recovery and wellness in close work with community members experiencing serious mental illnesses, addressing the criminalization of mental illness while also reducing recidivism by centering community and healing.
