This June, CASES is premiering the Faces of CASES video fundraising campaign. This campaign, spearheaded by our Associate Board, features CASES employees describing the impact of our services in their own words and through their own experiences. Head over to our Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages to hear and share their stories; you can also watch Senior Director Sophia Morel’s and Peer Specialist Derrick Brown’s stories below.
Thanks to you, CASES has received more than 160 donations in the campaign’s first 10 days. We also met our Board of Trustees’ 10-for-10 matching period goal of $10,000, announced last Friday, in just four days! Thank you to everyone who has donated for your generosity—but this push to support CASES staff is not done yet.
CASES’ work wouldn’t be possible without you and your support. Our goal is to reach 250 total donors—of any amount—before the Faces of CASES campaign ends June 21. Our staff and services, from jail alternatives to education and employment programs to intensive mental health treatment, depend on contributions from our network of supporters. Your donations help staff like Sophia and Derrick have the resources they need to support thousands of New Yorkers every year overcome the harm caused by the criminal legal system and create pathways to health and success in the community.
