CASES Partners with NYCTutoring.com for Pro Bono Translation Services

In the courts, in our offices, and at the Nathaniel Clinic, CASES is committed to providing client-centered, culturally competent services. To ensure effective services for clients whose primary language is Spanish, CASES seeks to employ at least one bilingual staff member who speaks both English and Spanish in all of our programs. We are also committed to making all program written materials available in English and Spanish, an approach proving especially critical during the pandemic as we increasingly deliver services and share information via virtual/online modes.

In preparing Spanish-language program materials during the pandemic, CASES is grateful to have had the opportunity to partner with NYCTutoring.com. Luke Palderthe founder of NYCTutoring.com, reached out to CASES this summer offering pro bono translation services from NYCTutoring.com language tutors. While CASES has thus far prioritized translating resources into Spanish, we look forward to continuing to partner with NYCTutoring.com to expand our language inclusivity to ensure we maximize access and engagement for all clients regardless of their primary language.
