Brooklyn Artist Voodo Fe Leads Art Workshop for CASES Participants

On April 19 2013, Brooklyn-based multi-media artist Voodo Fe led an interactive lecture and art workshop for CASES participants. Fe talked about life as a graphic artist and inspired participants to express themselves using the techniques of abstract art. He also conducted an experimental art workshop in which participants created a group piece of art around the concept of “freedom.” CASES’ Senior Clinician and Creative Arts Therapist, Jessica Zapotechne, said she plans to display this installation prominently outside the youth program classrooms and offices.

Voodo Fe has designed for labels such as Calvin Klein, G-Unit, Ecko, Avirex, Pelle Pelle and the NFL. Fe’s paintings have been shown in shops and galleries around New York City and Brooklyn. For more information on Fe and his work, visit his website.
